My Photography:
I am a female Vancouver Photographer.
I started out as a landscape photographer. I have loved photography since I was in my early teens. I grew up camping, fishing, traveling and that's where it all started. I traveled to Europe in 2009. I fell in love with Venice and its where I had decided I wanted to explore photography on a more professional level. I have been working with models/People ever since. My dad is a photographer too. I some times get to pick his brain in order to learn but have mostly taught my self through the internet, trial and error.
Here I am 2 years later trying to make someone smile because I made them feel beautiful about them selves when they needed a little boost of confidence. Its my favorite part of photography. The happy tears, the hugs, and the happiness I am able to give someone else through my work. I want to help people. I want people to know how beautiful they are. I am full of many ideas. Those are usually done in my "creative" section. The rest are of my clients . They come to me with an idea and I try to achieve it for them :)
Any constructive criticism is appreciated as long as it is not vindictive or malicious (Which I find some photographers do for some unknown reason, we all started somewhere)

My personality: I'm an artist, I'm unpredictable,
irrational, rad, bossy, shy, blunt, invasive, crazy, full of life,
intense, honest(maybe a little too much), bold, does things for shock
value, love reactions and what make people tick, passionate, full of
love, cheeky, laugh out of the blue about nothing, a hate/love
personality, and change my mind daily on what i want, how can someone
settle for one thing when they want to explore the world and everything
in it. As you see, simple just wont do.
I am a complicated individual. Many people
underestimate me. I see the world through a different set of eyes
compared to what I know of others. I like to think of the possibility of
the world being different dimensions sort of like the Matrix or
Inception. That we are not the only ones here. Like something bigger is
happening all around us. I believe in ghosts I use to have imaginary
friends as a child. I like to think of the possibility that we are not
the only life forms in the entire galaxies or universes. What makes us
so superior. now you see? Am I crazy or just have a vivid imagination ;)
My image: I have a different look at Photography. Many
have compared my work to Tim Burton. I find it flattering as I think
his work is beautiful dark and emotional. I tend to adore shock factor. I
like to express my self through my art. Id like to think I'm good at
what I do. I have a lot of passion and this is my choice of art. its my
hobby, it makes me happy and it re-centers me. I believe I might
actually adore the edit process most. I like to take an image and
manipulate it into a story, something a little different than it first
appeared to be. As you can see, I like contrast, color, grunge filters
to give more "emotion" to my work.
Creatives: a majority of my creative work is a little offensive to some viewers.. I do label my albums if they are unstable for under age viewers. I will keep it clean, but if I don't have to and your up for it, I like to "Bend the rules"
I do appreciate feedback as it encourages me to grow
as an artist. knowledge is power. Trail and error allows one to gain the
experience. I hope to be as good as some of the many lovely artist out
there. I look at this as an ongoing experience that will satisfy my
needs for challenges for years to come.

I do photography, and yes I have expensive equipment.... everyone now a days says they are a photographer after buying their first DSLR don't they ;) I guess you'll just to have judge if I am truly a photographer by my work <3
